Bridging Cultures 2024-1-DE02-KA122-ADU-000196532 was a great course. Do you think any meaning where are we come from and how we are so far from others? This question is for ours life system. what’s the our cultures life points and what’s other people’s culture differences and similarities? There are different kind of nationality people in Germany who would like to live better life standards. Ukrainian, Turkish, Arabian, Bengal.. How can we live same area with happiness with own culture? In this training course, I would to share a meaningful sentence from Mevlana “Come, Come again! Whatever you are…” whatever you believe wherever you grow just come and live together
In our heart, keep to peacefulness and respect to others we don’t need to make distance with our differences we need to keep humanity love and respect for living together, only this way will work our social life qualities together.

I am very grateful for the amazing opportunity to take part in the project Bridging Cultures in Antalya 2024-1-DE02-KA122-ADU-000196532 . During that week, we participated in different workshops and trainings. I got to know more about cultural diversity, empathy, tolerance and open-mindness. Moreover, some activities for me were absolutely new – how to work in canva, to make animated presentations, different tools for design and creativity – all the things which are so important in work with youth and in general for most of the fields connected to communication or marketing.
Due to this project, I met new friends, we were representatives from Germany, but we were so diverse group, belonging to different national, religion and cultural background, at the same time we had a lot in common and shared the same goal – to promote multicultural interaction and learn from each other. During our working process, we tried to follow The 7 Principles of Mevlana Jalaluddin Rumi – one of the most important and well-known Islamic mystic and the founder of the Mevlevi Sufi order.
Turkish culture is amazing – hospitable people, tasty food, beautiful Islamic architecture and decorations, calligraphy and ebru painting. The last one we even had tried by our own. Ebru is a traditional Turkish form of painting that is described as “painting on water. This process is like meditation, and in the end you get your own unique masterpiece in the form of abstraction.
To stay fit after so much tasty Turkish food on the last days we had also sport activity, playing basketball and football. It was interesting to visit that public sporthall, as it was used also by sportsmen preparing for Olympic Games. National and international basketball tournaments are also held there.
The whole week was filled with bright moments and interesting activities. I am grateful to the host and sending organizations for this opportunity, it is a life changing experience.

I recently had the incredible opportunity to participate in the Erasmus+ project “Bridging Cultures” 2024-1-DE02-KA122-ADU-000196532 in Antalya, Turkey, which focused on multiculturalism and diversity. During the project, I learned about the importance of leadership and how it plays a crucial role in bringing people from different backgrounds together. We explored many diverse cultures, including the rich traditions of Sufi culture and the mesmerizing art of Ebru. I also had the chance to taste a variety of traditional foods from different countries, which added a delightful flavor to the overall experience.
One of the most impactful lessons I gained from the project was about empathy – understanding and appreciating the perspectives of others. Through various activities with participants from all over the world, I not only learned new skills but also forged deep friendships. These experiences have enriched my understanding of diversity and will continue to influence how I approach cultural differences in the future.
I would like to express my deepest gratitude to the organizers for creating such an inspiring and transformative program. Your hard work and dedication made this experience truly unforgettable. To all the participants, thank you for your energy, kindness, and for sharing your cultures. It was a pleasure learning and growing together!

My Experience at the Training Course Program; Bridging Cultures:
A Celebration of Multiculturalism
As a resident of Germany who deeply values multiculturalism, the recent 5-day course program in Antalya, Türkiye, was a transformative experience. The program combined learning, creativity, and community-building to celebrate the richness of diversity and foster empathy and respect across cultures. Here’s why I loved every moment of it and why it was such a meaningful experience for me.
Day 1: Understanding Multiculturalism and Empathy
The program began with an engaging kick-off at the Pixie Academy. Ice-breaking activities helped us connect instantly, breaking down initial hesitations. The session on What is Multiculturalism? Why is Multiculturalism Important? was particularly impactful. As someone who cherishes Germany’s multicultural landscape, understanding the theoretical and practical aspects of inclusivity deepened my appreciation for empathy and respect in diverse settings. The workshop on overcoming biases through group discussions further emphasized how essential it is to view differences as strengths.
Day 2: Expressing Empathy Through Drama
Drama has always been a powerful medium of expression, and the workshop at Modern Sanat Akademisi proved just that. The exercises on body language and non-verbal communication highlighted the unspoken ways we connect with each other. Preparing and performing short sketches on empathy and respect brought participants together in an incredibly creative and interactive way. It was inspiring to see how drama can transcend language barriers and foster understanding—a lesson that resonates with my belief in the power of art to unite people.
Day 3: Showcasing Cultural Richness Through Art and Music
One of the highlights of the week was sharing and witnessing the diverse cultural expressions of the participants through art and music. Showcasing traditional forms from our respective cultures sparked lively discussions about our shared humanity and unique identities. The digital poster design workshop was another favorite. Designing posters under the theme Harmony in Diversity not only tested our creativity but also reinforced the program’s central message: diversity is beautiful, and harmony is achievable through mutual respect and understanding.
Day 4: Connecting Through Nature
The bicycle tour along Konyaaltı Beach was a refreshing and invigorating experience. Cycling alongside new friends from different cultural backgrounds while soaking in the scenic beauty of Antalya was a reminder of the simple joys of life. This activity also symbolized the program’s essence: moving forward together, appreciating the journey as much as the destination. Reflecting on the week’s lessons by the beach added a serene and contemplative touch to the experience.
Day 5: Celebrating Progress and New Friendships
The final day was bittersweet. Reviewing the week’s key takeaways emphasized how much I had grown—not just in understanding multiculturalism but also in forming meaningful connections. The post-test revealed the tangible progress we had made, and the certificate ceremony was a proud moment for everyone. It was clear that the program wasn’t just an event; it was the beginning of a lifelong journey toward embracing diversity.
Why This Program Was Important to Me Living in Germany, a country that has become a melting pot of cultures, I have always been an advocate for multiculturalism. This program reaffirmed my belief that celebrating cultural differences enriches our lives and strengthens our communities. It also provided me with tools and perspectives to contribute meaningfully to fostering inclusion in my daily interactions.
Beyond the knowledge and skills gained, what stood out the most was the sense of connection.
Meeting people from various backgrounds and learning from their stories reminded me of the importance of stepping out of one’s comfort zone to understand and appreciate others.
A Lasting Impact
The course in Antalya was more than just a program—it was a journey of growth, connection, and celebration. It strengthened my commitment to championing multiculturalism and left me inspired to bring the lessons I learned into my life in Germany. Events like this are not only educational but also deeply enriching for the soul, and I feel fortunate to have been a part of such a meaningful experience.
In a world that is becoming increasingly interconnected, fostering empathy and respect in multicultural environments is not just important—it’s essential.
Programs like these pave the way for a brighter, more inclusive future.
