The first online meeting took place on 26 September at 12:00, during which the partners discussed the planned project activities. The Tech Up-Skilling for a New Workforce: AI, Data, and Digital Competencies for Students (Tech-Up) 2025-1-DE02-KA210-VET-000349476 project aims to equip low-skilled VET students with essential digital competencies. These include fundamental and applied knowledge of artificial intelligence (AI) and data analysis.
The project’s objectives are closely aligned with the selected priorities of increasing the flexibility of vocational education and training (VET) and adapting VET provision to current labour market needs. By addressing skills gaps in emerging digital technologies, the project supports learners’ employability and long-term workforce integration.
Collaboration with transnational partners represents a significant added value for achieving these objectives. It enables the project to draw on diverse competencies, experiences, and resources to address shared challenges through innovative, AI-based educational solutions. Moreover, the transnational dimension enhances the project’s overall impact, ensuring that its results are not only locally relevant but also adaptable and scalable across different educational and socio-economic contexts.
