We are proud to announce the approval of the Erasmus+ KA210-VET project “Up-Skilling for a New Workforce: AI, Data, and Digital Competencies for Students (Tech-Up)”, a forward-looking initiative coordinated by Phoenix Knowledge Wings gGmbH.

Project Vision and Rationale
Tech-Up is designed to respond directly to the accelerating digital transformation of the labour market. Across all sectors, artificial intelligence (AI), data analysis, and digital innovation are no longer niche competencies but essential skills. However, many low-skilled VET students face structural barriers to accessing high-quality digital education. This project addresses that gap by equipping learners with practical, accessible, and future-oriented digital competencies.
The project’s objectives are closely aligned with the Erasmus+ priorities of increasing the flexibility of VET opportunities and adapting VET to labour market needs, ensuring that vocational education remains relevant, inclusive, and responsive to technological change.
Concrete Objectives of the Tech-Up Project
The first objective is to improve digital literacy and technical skills among low-skilled VET students. The project will introduce fundamental and applied knowledge of artificial intelligence and data analysis in an accessible, learner-friendly manner. By focusing on clear concepts, practical tools, and real-world relevance, Tech-Up aims to empower students to engage confidently with emerging technologies, effectively bridging the gap between limited initial skills and the modern demands of the world of work.
The second objective is to make learning opportunities more flexible and accessible. Through the development of intuitive digital learning platforms, the project will support modular, self-directed learning paths tailored to individual progress and learning speeds. These platforms will include interactive resources, real-life simulations, and personalised feedback mechanisms, ensuring that all students—regardless of background or starting level—can benefit from high-quality, inclusive training opportunities.
The third objective is to strengthen the alignment between vocational education and labour market needs. Training modules will focus on the practical application of AI and data analysis skills, including problem-solving, predictive modelling, data-informed decision-making, and the ethical use of digital technologies. This labour-market-oriented approach ensures that VET learners are not only prepared for existing job roles but are also adaptable and resilient in the face of future technological developments.
Expected Outcomes and Impact
The Tech-Up project is expected to deliver tangible and long-lasting results, including:
