On 23 October 2024, we launched our dissemination and activity event for the project Embrace Technology, Engage as an Active Citizen (2024-1-DE04-KA154-YOU-000238751). This milestone gathered 50 enthusiastic participants in Germany, laying the groundwork for our youth engagement initiative.
Project Overview
Our overarching aim is to empower young people to become digitally savvy, proactive participants in policy-making, and effective advocates for their rights. Given the evolving digital landscape, we are committed to ensuring youth can influence decision-makers and understand their responsibilities and privileges in the digital age.
Specific Objectives
- Media Literacy & Information Access: We strive to make young people critical consumers of digital content, adept in data verification, and well-versed in media literacy.
- Human Rights Education: The project seeks to motivate youth to use digital tools for defending their rights locally and at the European level.
- Democratic Engagement: We educate on democratic participation, enabling youth to engage with policy-making processes using digital strategies.
